Results: Completed GPS and hydraulic studies to help measure the growth and stability of Lincoln's growing population. The coordinate system has been responsible for three storm sewer projects and will continue to serve the area for decades to come.
E&A's Project Scope: E&A conducted a horizontal and vertical wide-area GPS control survey over 75 square miles as preparation for 200 creek cross sections and 7 miles of creek profiles. The data was used for geomorphology studies of Stevens Creek, hydraulic modeling and flood studies prior to development. The $105,000 surveying contract work was done for CDM and Intuition and Logic under a partnership with the City of Lincoln and Lower Platte South Natural Resources District.
