Results: Construction of a large playground with poured-in-place rubber safety surface, a trails system, pedestrian bridges, parking lots and landscaping. Playground designs met the city's requirements for safety, complete handicap accessibility and reduced long-term maintenance. Trails were designed to minimize the impact on existing natural areas. The bridge design focused on durability and low-maintenance requirements while maintaining the necessary strength to serve as an access for emergency vehicles.
